ACCESS LEVEL: RESTRICTED
FILE DESIGNATION: ASYNC-LEVEL-5-DOCUMENTATION
STATUS: Under Observation
CLASSIFICATION: Hospitality Complex
Level 5 is commonly described as an enormous hotel-like structure. The environment contains long carpeted hallways, large staircases, ballrooms, and numerous guest rooms that resemble those of an early twentieth-century luxury hotel.
The architecture appears significantly more decorative compared to previous levels. Chandeliers, wallpaper patterns, and ornate wooden structures are frequently encountered throughout the level.
The hallways of Level 5 are typically lined with patterned carpets and decorative wall panels. Large framed mirrors and paintings are often present along the walls.
Rooms vary in size from small guest bedrooms to massive ballroom spaces containing large chandeliers and long dining tables.
Lighting is generally warm and dim, often provided by chandeliers, lamps, and wall-mounted lighting fixtures. Despite the appearance of functioning electricity, no known external power source has been identified.
Some sections of the level may suddenly lose lighting entirely, creating dark corridors that appear to stretch far beyond the visible area.
Level 5 is considered moderately stable compared to earlier levels. However, the scale of the environment makes navigation extremely difficult. Many hallways appear identical, increasing the risk of explorers becoming lost.
ASYNC RESEARCH NOTE:
The origin of the architecture found within Level 5 remains unknown. Researchers believe the level may represent a fragmented reconstruction of human-designed environments, assembled within the anomalous structure of the Backrooms.

Environmental Documentation Division
Archive terminal maintained by Research Technician
MiraVoltsYT.
All level documentation stored within this terminal
is part of an ongoing investigation into anomalous
spatial environments commonly referred to as
"The Backrooms."
Research is ongoing. Additional level reports,
survival logs, and environmental data will be
uploaded to this archive as new areas are
discovered and successfully documented by
exploration teams.
