ACCESS LEVEL: HIGHLY RESTRICTED
FILE DESIGNATION: ASYNC-LEVEL-6-DOCUMENTATION
STATUS: Limited Exploration
CLASSIFICATION: Extreme Darkness Environment
Level 6 is one of the most hostile environments documented within the Backrooms. The level is characterized by near-total darkness and extreme psychological stress experienced by explorers who enter it.
Unlike previous levels, Level 6 contains very few identifiable structures. Hallways and rooms exist, but they are almost impossible to navigate due to the absence of reliable light sources.
Lighting is almost completely nonexistent within Level 6. Flashlights and electronic lighting equipment frequently malfunction or rapidly lose power after entering the environment.
Many explorers report that the darkness appears "unnatural," often describing it as thicker or heavier than normal darkness.
Individuals who remain within Level 6 for extended periods commonly experience heightened anxiety, paranoia, and disorientation. Audio distortions and unexplained sounds have also been frequently reported.
Navigation becomes extremely difficult due to the lack of visual reference points.
Due to the dangerous nature of this level, exploration teams rarely remain within Level 6 for extended durations. Mapping progress is slow and incomplete.
ASYNC RESEARCH NOTE:
Researchers believe Level 6 may represent a transitional zone between earlier structural environments and deeper regions of the Backrooms. Additional equipment designed for low-light exploration is currently being developed to allow further investigation of this level.
ASYNC RESEARCH DATABASE
Environmental Documentation Division
Archive terminal maintained by Research Technician
MiraVoltsYT.
All level documentation stored within this terminal
is part of an ongoing investigation into anomalous
spatial environments commonly referred to as
"The Backrooms."
Research is ongoing. Additional level reports,
survival logs, and environmental data will be
uploaded to this archive as new areas are
discovered and successfully documented by
exploration teams.
