STATUS: Active Exploration Zone
CLASSIFICATION: Electrical Infrastructure Environment
Level 3 is widely described as a vast and complex network of electrical infrastructure corridors. The environment consists primarily of narrow hallways, mechanical chambers, and maintenance tunnels filled with industrial equipment.
Unlike previous levels, Level 3 contains a significant amount of electrical machinery. Large generators, transformer units, and cable systems are present throughout the environment.
The walls and floors of Level 3 are constructed from heavy industrial materials such as reinforced concrete, steel grating, and metal maintenance platforms. Many corridors contain exposed wiring and large bundles of electrical cables running along the ceiling.
Some rooms appear to function as control stations or mechanical distribution hubs, though none have been confirmed to operate with known electrical systems from normal reality.
Lighting in Level 3 is inconsistent and often unstable. Most areas are illuminated by industrial light fixtures or exposed electrical bulbs. Many lights flicker unpredictably, occasionally plunging entire corridors into darkness.
The constant buzzing of electrical systems is present in nearly every section of the level.
The large concentration of machinery within Level 3 introduces several environmental risks. Some corridors contain dangerously high temperatures caused by running electrical equipment.
Additionally, exposed wiring and unstable electrical systems may produce sparks or sudden power surges.
ASYNC RESEARCH NOTE:
Researchers believe Level 3 may represent a core infrastructural layer within the Backrooms anomaly. The extensive electrical systems could potentially supply energy to deeper levels, though their true purpose remains unknown.

Environmental Documentation Division
Archive terminal maintained by Research Technician
MiraVoltsYT.
All level documentation stored within this terminal
is part of an ongoing investigation into anomalous
spatial environments commonly referred to as
"The Backrooms."
Research is ongoing. Additional level reports,
survival logs, and environmental data will be
uploaded to this archive as new areas are
discovered and successfully documented by
exploration teams.
