ACCESS LEVEL: RESTRICTED

Overview

Level 2 is commonly described as a vast network of maintenance tunnels and service corridors. Unlike the more open environments found in previous levels, this region is composed primarily of narrow passageways, industrial hallways, and pipe-filled chambers.

The environment appears significantly older and more deteriorated than earlier levels. Rusted metal structures, damaged wiring, and exposed mechanical infrastructure are present throughout most documented areas.

Environmental Description

The walls of Level 2 are usually constructed from aged concrete, industrial metal panels, or unfinished structural materials. Large pipe systems run along the ceilings and walls, occasionally releasing steam or unidentified gases.

The temperature in many parts of Level 2 is noticeably higher than in previous environments. Some explorers have described the air as heavy, humid, and difficult to breathe after extended exposure.

Lighting Conditions

Lighting within Level 2 is extremely inconsistent. Certain corridors contain functioning industrial lighting, while others rely on dim red emergency lights or flickering electrical fixtures.

Extended areas of near-total darkness have also been reported, making navigation difficult without portable light sources.

Hazards

Due to the confined layout and complex corridor system, it is easy for individuals to become disoriented while traveling through Level 2. The environment is also known to produce loud mechanical sounds originating from unknown sources within the walls.
