Overview

Level 37, commonly referred to as "Sublimity," is an expansive indoor aquatic environment consisting of interconnected pools, hallways, and tiled chambers.

The level resembles a massive water park or swimming facility, though no clear entrance or exterior structure has ever been identified.

Environmental Description

Large sections of Level 37 are filled with clear blue water. The water temperature is typically warm and calm, creating an unusually peaceful atmosphere compared to many other levels.

Pools of varying depths are connected by tiled corridors, ramps, and stairways that allow movement between different areas of the structure.

Lighting Conditions

Soft ambient lighting fills most of the environment. The light appears to come from the ceiling or from unknown sources within the water itself.

Despite the enclosed environment, the lighting creates the impression of natural daylight reflecting off the water’s surface.

Environmental Stability

Level 37 is considered a relatively calm and stable region of the Backrooms. The water is generally safe to swim in and no significant structural hazards have been identified in most documented areas.

However, the size of the complex makes navigation difficult, as many corridors and pools appear visually identical.

ASYNC RESEARCH NOTE:

Exploration teams have reported that some areas of Level 37 extend into extremely large pool chambers that appear far larger than the exterior layout should allow.

Further mapping of the aquatic structures is currently ongoing. Researchers believe the level may contain significantly more sections than currently documented.
