ASYNC INTERNAL ARCHIVE – LEVEL !-!

ACCESS LEVEL: EXTREME / LIFE-THREAT

FILE DESIGNATION: ASYNC-LEVEL-!-!-DOCUMENTATION

STATUS: Active Hazard Sublevel

CLASSIFICATION: Hotel / High-Speed Pursuit Zone

Overview

Level !-!, known as "Hotel Chase," is a sublevel of Level ! ("Run For Your Life!"). The environment consists of a massive hotel with red lighting, long hallways, and a series of wooden or reflective walls. Hallways span an estimated 10–15 miles, and the layout is disorienting and unpredictable.

The objective is to escape a relentless horde of entities by running to the end of the hallways, using sharp turns and efficient navigation. Safe zones called the Blue Hallways occasionally appear, providing temporary respite and access to limited food, Almond Water, and rest.

Environmental Characteristics

Lighting in Hotel Chase is provided by ceiling-mounted lightbulbs of various shapes and sizes. The level emits a constant blaring alarm, accompanied by faint elevator music near the exits. Doors may open or close unexpectedly, leading either to other levels or trap rooms containing hazards and additional entity hordes.

The Blue Hallways are lit in calming blue, with wooden or metal doors and occasional furniture. They serve as checkpoints where entities cannot enter, though resources are limited. Windows in these hallways may reveal blinding white light, capable of knocking explorers unconscious.

Entity Behavior

The primary threats in Hotel Chase are:

Entities run extremely fast with inhuman stamina, forcing survivors to move continuously. Attempting confrontation is highly dangerous.

Mental and Physiological Effects

Hotel Chase produces severe mental strain. The combination of red lighting, strobing alarms, entity pursuit, and repetitive hallways can cause acute stress, mental illness, and may trigger the Insanity Cycle. Blue Hallways significantly reduce these effects but do not eliminate them entirely.

ASYNC RESEARCH NOTE:

Due to extreme danger and unpredictability, full documentation is limited. Researchers focus on entity behavior, escape strategies, and the correlation with Level !. Continued study is essential for survival guidelines and understanding spatial anomalies.
